Marches Medical Practice

PRACTICE CHARTER STANDARDS

At the Marches Medical Practice it is our aim to provide and maintain a comprehensive, efficient and individual service. At extremely busy times we would ask for your patience and understanding.

CPRIMARY MEDICAL SERVICES
If you require additional information about primary medical services in the area, please either write to or phone:

Cadwater University Health Board
Preswylfa
Hendy Road
Mold

Telephone: 01352 700227

CONFIDENTIALITY
Whilst you remain registered with this practice, details from your medical records may be released to other health professionals unless you instruct us otherwise in writing. Such information will only be released in order to enable you to receive proper care and treatment or to help protect the health of the general public.

COMPLAINTS
If you have a complaint about any aspect of the service we provide, please first ask to speak to a supervisor. Then, if necessary, the complaints officer will be contacted. They will investigate the matter and aim to resolve the problem with you as soon as possible. A leaflet explains the procedure; please ask for one from reception.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION - PUBLICATION SCHEME
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes' of information the practice intends to routinely make available. This scheme is available from reception, or visit www.foi.gov.uk for more information.

ZERO TOLERANCE
We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses GPs, staff or other patients (be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever) will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.
